The textile stress sensor vest has come far enough to become a reality in the forseeable future, where the level of physical stress can be determined by registering the electrical excitation of the muscles in activities such as sports training and computer games. The vest's core will contain sensors woven into the fabric that will go about its job discreetly, and some practical applications of such a vest include using it as a computer game vest to control objects on the screen via muscle tension, although I'm not too sure just how a game will play out that way. It would be interesting to see bloggers wear this at work, wondering whether their fingers have reached the limit where touch typing is concerned.
