Fitbit Helps You Keep In Shape

Fitbit Helps You Keep In ShapeAlign Left

Fitbit is a small clip-on device that functions as a wireless motion sensor/recorder, transmitting data to the Fitbit server over an encrypted stream of motion data - yours. The server will then translate the recorded movement into various exercise intensity levels, including other information such as calories burned, sleep quality, steps and distance. It would be interesting to wear this while playing the Wii or working out with your Nike+iPod. Definitely a vast improvement over the standard pedometer, the Fitbit will retail for $99 and keeps your data confidential by encrypting it so that third parties won't be able to view just how much (or how little) your movement is.
