Trendnet has claimed that its TEW 654-TR is the smallest Draft N router in the world. And they're probably right, because making a smaller router than this wouldn't even really make sense. At 63.5x82.5x19mm, the router is, in its largest dimension, about the size of a mini-CD (WHAT'S A CD? A MINI-CD? STOP SPEAKING GIBBERISH! GET OFF MY GIZ, JOHN). It's smaller than your palm. It's smaller than a Moon Pie. For goodness sake, it's almost smaller than its own power adapter.
Obviously, size is the major draw here, as the rest of the features are somewhat barebones. But that's fine—if you want super-fast wireless networking on the fly for, say, a roadside motel LAN party, this'll do the trick. The TEW 654-TR will be available from early March, and for a reasonable $90ish. [Trendnet]
